The LVE Orion II RBA is a rebuildable atomizer tank compatible with both the LVE Orion II Pro and all versions of the LVE Orion II. If you’re tired of buying mesh coils and want full control over your vaping experience, this is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for.
The Orion II first hit the scene in early 2023 and it’s still just as popular today — testament to how good the platform is. The RBA was the most requested accessory from day one, and LVE delivered. We’ve been running one as a daily driver since we received our first sample and it hasn’t missed a beat.
Compatible with the Orion II Pro & Orion II
The RBA fits all Orion II devices — the original Orion II and the newer Orion II Pro. It uses its own dedicated RBA tanks (included in the box) which are separate from the standard mesh coil tanks. If you need replacement RBA tanks you can find them here.
Build Deck
At the heart of the LVE Orion II RBA is a spacious, removable build deck designed for ease of use. Compared to other pod system RBAs — including the more fiddly Vaporesso RBA that some users have tried retrofitting — the Orion II RBA offers significantly more room to work with. Even complex coil structures go in without a fight.
Gold plated M2.5mm x 3.5mm hex post screws, stainless steel and PCTG construction, 510 drip tip compatibility, and a 34g total weight. Built to last and built to perform.
Airflow
Four interchangeable airflow pins give you precise, repeatable control over your draw — no accidental adjustment, no vague ring positions. The 1mm pin delivers a tight cigarette-style MTL draw, 2mm opens to a loose MTL, 3mm gives restricted DTL, and 4mm is wide open DTL. The AFC ring on the device provides additional fine-tuning on top.
The kit now includes the 1mm airflow pin as standard — previously only available as an upgrade.
Build Instructions
- Choose and fit the airflow pin to suit your vaping preference.
- Secure the coil legs to the posts, ensuring the coil ends align with the liquid intake holes on either side of the base.
- Wick with cotton, then prime with e-liquid. Use a pointed tool to gently position the cotton into the e-liquid wells.
- Attach the chimney onto the RBA base, then insert the assembled RBA into the tank. Connect it to the device, fill with e-liquid, adjust the AFC ring to regulate airflow, and you’re ready to go.

Orion II RBA FAQ
Will mesh coils also fit in the RBA tank?
No, the RBA uses its own dedicated tanks which are not compatible with mesh coils. If you’re looking for standard replacement tanks for mesh coils you can find them here.
Is the RBA compatible with the Orion II Pro?
Yes — the LVE Orion II RBA is fully compatible with both the Orion II and the Orion II Pro.
Will other air flow inserts be available?
Quite possibly, depending on demand. If there’s a particular size you’d like to see please let LVE know through one of their social media channels or by emailing support@lvevapor.com.
What coil should I use?
Coil building is very much a personal preference, but we’d recommend the following round wire coil builds as a starting point. Wind coils clockwise.

Which cotton wick is best to use with the Orion II RBA?
We recommend SLIVR Cotton. Available in tins and refill pouches. Get some HERE!
What PG/VG ratio should I use?
That’s entirely down to your vaping preferences and how you build. Generally speaking, lower resistance builds favour higher VG for denser vapour, and higher resistance MTL builds have better flavour with PG leaning towards the 50/50 mark.
Is the Orion II RBA compatible with Boro Tanks?
No, not in its current form — but hopefully we’ll see LVE use the same RBA in a Boro Tank in the future.
Can the RBA be mounted on a mod or ohm reader for pulsing the coil?
Absolutely. The ring at the bottom of the RBA can be unscrewed to reveal a 510 thread, letting you attach it to any mod, tab or ohm reader.
