Important Update: LVE Orion II v2 Mesh Tanks and Coils Now Available
LVE has released the upgraded Orion II v2 mesh tanks and coils, featuring significant improvements over the original v1 system. This update brings enhanced performance and reliability to the popular Orion II platform.
What’s New in v2?
The LVE Orion II v2 features refined engineering focused on coil performance. The standout improvement is the redesigned coil system that delivers noticeably better flavour compared to v1.
The distinctive ridge you’ll see in v2 tanks isn’t just for identification – it’s actually an internal tank geometry innovation. This ridge ensures the wick window on the coil stays consistently wet by utilizing the surface tension properties of e-liquid. This clever engineering prevents dry hits and maintains optimal saturation for a superior vaping experience.
How to Identify Your Version
Visual Differences
The easiest way to distinguish between v1 and v2 tanks is by looking at the coil base area:
- v2 tanks feature a distinctive ridge around where the base of the coil sits
- v1 tanks have a smooth design without this ridge

Tank Design Changes
Looking at the tanks side by side, you’ll notice:
- v1: Features grey/silver mouthpieces on both tinted tanks
- v2: Comes with two distinct options – a clear tank with clear drip tip and a smoked tank with black drip tip
Key Improvements in v2
The v2 system delivers:
- Superior flavor production – The improved coils provide noticeably better taste
- Consistent wicking – The internal ridge geometry keeps the wick window saturated
- Reduced dry hits – Surface tension engineering ensures consistent e-liquid flow
- Better overall performance – Refined coil design enhances the entire vaping experience
Important Compatibility Notice
⚠️ Please note: LVE Orion II v2 tanks and coils are NOT compatible with v1 tanks and coils.
The v2 system features a completely redesigned coil connection mechanism. This means:
- v2 coils will not fit in v1 tanks
- v1 coils will not fit in v2 tanks
- Both v1 and v2 tanks can be used on the same device
Customers should be aware that upgrading to v2 will require purchasing new coils, as existing v1 coils cannot be used with v2 tanks.
