Genuine LVE Orion II Pro Coils — the current-generation coil compatible with both the LVE Orion II Pro and later versions of the original LVE Orion II. If you own either device and you’re running V2 tanks, these are the coils you need.
The V2 coil system was a meaningful upgrade over the original V1 design. Improved wicking geometry keeps the cotton consistently saturated, reducing dry hits and extending coil life. The mesh heating element delivers even, consistent heat across the full surface area — no hot spots, better flavour, more reliable performance puff to puff.
Four resistance options cover every vaping style. The 0.4Ω is built for warm, dense DTL clouds at 20W and above. The 0.6Ω sits in the sweet spot between DTL and MTL — great flavour at 17-20W. The 0.8Ω is the go-to MTL coil, running cool and clean from 10W up. And the 1.2Ω is the coolest of the range — perfect for tight, flavour-forward MTL vaping at 10-12W.
V1 vs V2 — Which Coils Do You Need?
LVE updated the coil system with the Orion II Pro redesign, bringing meaningful improvements over the original V1. The redesigned wicking geometry keeps the cotton consistently saturated using the surface tension properties of e-liquid — preventing dry hits and maintaining optimal flavour throughout the life of the coil.
The easiest way to tell V1 and V2 tanks apart is the ridge around the coil base area on V2 tanks. If your tank has this ridge, you need V2 coils — this page. If your tank is smooth at the base, you have a V1 tank and need the older V1 coils. The Orion II Pro uses V2 tanks and coils exclusively.
Not sure which you have? Check the o-ring colour on the coil: red = 0.4Ω DTL, orange = 0.6Ω RDTL, blue = 0.8Ω MTL, green = 1.2Ω Ultra MTL.
Installation
Plug-and-play fit. Pull the old coil out, push the new one in until it clicks. Prime with a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton before filling the tank, let it sit for 5 minutes, then start at the lower end of the recommended wattage range for the first few puffs.
DTL 0.4Ω
Orion II & Orion II Pro DTL coils run hot and cloudy.
Perfect at 20W and above
RDTL 0.6Ω
The sweet spot between DTL and MTL for the Orion II & Orion II Pro.
17 to 20W for flavour
MTL 0.8Ω
Runs cool and provides excellent flavour at lower wattages.
Start at 10W and work up.
MTL 1.2Ω
The coolest, most flavour-forward MTL option in the range.
Run between 10 and 12W.
