**IF your'e using this wire in temperature control, please read THIS BLOG POST**
While categorised as NiFe30 the exact balance of Nickel and Iron is a slightly different ratio and is a proprietary alloy developed by the manufacturer. We've requested a datasheet which will be made available before we start shipping that will show precise levels of trace metals so that any questions raised about it's composition in regards to metals other than Nickel and Iron are answered.
It will be available in 3 sizes
0.28mm / 29AWG - 3.326Ω/m
0.32mm / 28AWG - 2.566Ω/m
0.40mm / 26AWG - 1.660Ω/m
It's TCR is 5000 K x 10-6/° C or 0.0050
It's resistivity is 0.20 which is lower than other NiFe30 wires. Luckily Lars at The Steam Engine Calculator has kindly added our NiFe30 to the calculator along with making the details available in The Wire Wizard so you can generate a CSV for DNA200 devices.
Our NiFe30 wire will be available in 3 lengths
10m + 5m extra free
25m + 12.5m extra free
50m + 25m extra free

Regarding dry burning NiFe wire. It's mentioned on some sites that it's ok to dry burn this material and while it's clear that NiFe doesn't react to dry burning like Ni200 and Titanium we're cautious to recommend this at present.
