**Inland UK Services are Unaffected**

UPDATE – Ransomware attack confirmed https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/royal-mail-warning-customers-urged-25987211

As the days go by, a cyber incident involving Royal Mail continues to be an issue with no clear indication of when normal service will resume for international shipments. Reports have been circulating that Royal Mail is currently down and unfortunately, Royal Mail have remained tight-lipped on the issue, leaving us in the dark as to what’s going on.

It is highly likely that the issue relates to a cyber-attack, as Royal Mail continues to be a target for malicious actors. With the rise of cyber-attacks in the last few years, organisations such as Royal Mail have been forced to put in place more stringent security measures to protect their customers’ data. It is possible that the down time is due to a vulnerability in the system that has been exploited by hackers. Unfortunately, as Royal Mail have not officially confirmed the cause of the incident, we can only speculate as to the root cause. This lack of clarity has been frustrating for us, as we are left unsure as to when service will resume, and have been unable to print our international labels.

We recommend that international customers select UPS as the shipping option at check out until normal service resumes for Royal Mail. With UPS, customers can still get their packages delivered in a timely manner without having to worry about the issues that Royal Mail are currently facing. It is unclear as to when the issue with Royal Mail will be resolved and customers can expect to see normal service resume.

We hope that Royal Mail will provide some clarity on the issue soon.

Royal Mail Strike Action Continues

It has been a frustrating time for customers of Royal Mail. For the past few weeks, services have been facing delays due to a series of strikes by its workers – disrupting its normal operations. The cause of the strikes is a long-term dispute between the company and the Communication Workers Union (CWU) over pay and working conditions.

The dispute between Royal Mail and the CWU has been an ongoing issue for some time now, with the CWU stating that Royal Mail has failed to adequately address their concerns. The CWU has been campaigning for a better deal for its members, including salary increases and improved job security, but their calls have been ignored. This has led to the series of strikes which have caused disruption to Royal Mail services. This has caused disruption for those relying on Royal Mail for essential deliveries, especially those in vulnerable situations. In addition, businesses such as ours have been affected due to being unable to send orders in a timely fashion.

Although Royal Mail has been trying to minimise the disruption as much as possible, the strikes have caused a major inconvenience for customers. The CWU has stated that they are willing to negotiate with Royal Mail, but they are yet to come to an agreement. This means that the disruption to services could continue for some time yet, with no guarantee that it will be resolved any time soon. It is clear that this dispute needs to be resolved as soon as possible in order to ensure that customers of Royal Mail are not inconvenienced any further.

Until then, we thank our customers for bearing with these disruptions and hope that a resolution can be reached soon.
